I was born in Belgrade, Serbia where I was a practicing ceramic artist for nearly 10 years. After completing my studies at the Faculty of Applied Arts, University of Arts, Belgrade, I moved to England in 2008 and decided to broaden my career. Seeking the broader commitment to my craft and its historic precedents I completed the course for Conservation and Restoration of Ceramics, at West Dean College, Chichester.
For the past 10 years I have been living in Brighton and working as a ceramics conservator. Since 2018 I have been working as a subject tutor at West Dean College. I still enjoy ceramic making, especially in the Raku technique. Being, arguably, one of the most unpredictable techniques in ceramics I find it liberating and a complementary contrast to the very controlled process of conservation/restoration.
